New members are always welcome. The Alton Golf Club is a friendly & fun place to play golf.

Full 7 day Membership is available for less than £520 per annum, 5 day members pay £454 with allowances for pensioners and junior players, easy payment terms available. We welcome country members.

Currently the joining fees are waived for new members.

If you are new to the game, The Alton Golf Club can offer support and training with an experienced PGA professional, Robert Angell. Charges £15 for 30 mins, or £30 for a 9-hole playing lesson. Contact Robert through the club or on 07980 987850. 

Also available is an exciting new method of learning and improving your golf delivered by a motivational consultant at £20 a session. These sessions are not timed, in fact if you see no improvement you do not pay.

Roll ups
If you want to play with new people simply join our general roll ups on Tuesday and Thursday at 9.45am, Saturday at 7.45 and 11.45am and Sunday (when no competition) at 7.45 and 11.45am.

Ladies meet on a Tuesday morning at 9.30am.

Competitions
For the competitive player there is no shortage of competitions both within the club and with other clubs in Hampshire. Mens, ladies and mixed teams play in all key local competitions. See the events diary for details of this years competitions.
